Heald Green Business Club meets MP meets the animals

The Heald Green Business Club invited Mark
Hunter MP for Cheadle and Gatley to discuss business
concerns. The
top item on the agenda was the disposal of waste that now incurs a £50
minimum charge for business waste. Two examples of where this might
cause a problem, were highlighted; In the case of Taylored Office Solutions
they were
generating large of amounts of packaging waste; due its light weight it
was taking a long to reach the £50 minimum charge. Secondly, Ken Finch,
a local plumber, was having collect on his premises odd items, such as
redundant toilets, from his customers.
Following the
discussion with our MP we were presented with a menagerie of small
animals from Andrew of 'Animals
Intuition'.
Snakes and spiders were admired or hated by all present.
